Washington DC - Lafayette Square

Lafayette Square is the district surrounding the White House, an immaculately maintained area with a lush park and more than forty officially designated historic sites. There is nearly no place safer on earth to spend time as a tourist, enjoying the scenery and strolling around our nation’s capitol.

One of the most brilliant and impressive places to see is the Octagon, a National Historic Landmark from 1801 devoted to architecture and design, also the nation's oldest museum! St. Johns Church is also located here and since 1816 every president has come to worship in Pew 54 since James Madison was the first to sit there.
