Washington DC - Adams Morgan

The Adams Morgan district of Washington D.C. is a very lively and happening place. Home to the Mexican Cultural Institute and the Latin American Youth Center, this district is full of Latin culture and its pizzazz. Colorful murals are found everywhere, occasionally marking places to find Latin dance clubs. There are lots of places to along the streets and enjoy the mix of cultures and sights of the city left over from various different generations and time periods.

A good way to see the whole district is to follow the Roads to Diversity: Adams Morgan Heritage Trail, established January 2006. This self-guided walking trail covers a good section of the Adams Morgan district, from elite artistic hideaways and centers to hot spots for political activism.
